Born from a love

Stylish Salon was founded in 2009 by Creative Director Sophie Laurent, with a simple but powerful vision: to create a salon where every client leaves feeling genuinely transformed — not just styled.
Starting with just three chairs in a small Mayfair studio, Sophie built the salon around a philosophy of deep listening, technical excellence, and genuine care. Word spread quickly. Within two years, Stylish Salon had outgrown its original space.
Today, our team of eight award-winning stylists serves thousands of clients each year, from everyday appointments to high-profile editorial shoots and celebrity events. But our values remain exactly the same as they were on day one.

2009
Sophie Laurent opens Stylish Salon with three chairs in a small Mayfair studio.
2011
Rapid growth leads to a move to our current, larger Mayfair location.
2014
First British Hairdressing Award nomination. Marcus Reid joins as Colour Technician.

Team expands to six stylists. Launch of our signature Balayage technique.
2020
Sophie Laurent wins Best New Talent at the London Hair Awards.
